Trip itinerary

Day 1 - Home Valley Station
We'll depart El Questro Station on day one, headed west on the Gibb River Road to Home Valley Station, with a barra mission on the mighty Pentecost River.
Dinner at the Station Bar.

Day 2  - Drysdale River Station
Today we’re driving out to Drysdale River via Ellenbrae Station, home to the Gibb’s best (only) scones.

 Day 3 - Mitchell Falls
One of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. We highly recommend booking a heli flight over the falls for this one.

Day 4  - Mt Elizabeth Station
Back on the Gibb, we prepare for some proper offroading on Mt Elizabeth Station.

Day 5  - Mt Elizabeth Station/ Mt Barnett
Trek out to Wunnumurra Gorge - great 4WDing and one of the best swimming holes on the Gibb. Then its a short drive to Mt Barnett Roadhouse.

Day 6 - Manning River
Manning River hike - a full day 5km hike across the Manning River to the falls - with a swim at both ends and beautiful bush camping.

Day 7 - Bell Gorge
Bell Gorge is the largest and most spectacular gorge on the Gibb, with a steep hike to drop down into the main gorge.

Day 8 - Derby
Half day drive to Derby, completing the Gibb River Road. Fish the legendary Derby pier.

Day 9 - Cable Beach
Highway drive to Broome’s Cable Beach for sunset drinks, then dinner together in town.
We did it!
